I don’t think of myself has having a disability. Sure, I’m in a wheelchair, but that doesn’t stop me. I participate in activities at my church, at the community center, or almost anywhere because South Lane Wheels can get me there. I remain independent by arranging for the rides I need. I don’t have to rely on family and friends for the chore of transportation, but if I need some extra help someone can ride with me as my aide for free. The route has been great because it gives me much more flexibility in my schedule, and the Door to Door has been so valuable for my doctor appointments both here and Eugene.
