South Lane Wheels

We Are More Than Just A Ride

Reservations

Reserving a ride with South Lane Wheels is easy. Due to the popularity and increasing demand for all of our services, we take reservations on a "first-call, first-serve" basis so call as soon as possible.

Reservations

Call anytime Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

For the local Door to Door service, call by noon the day before your trip. For a Metro Shuttle trip to the Eugene/Springfield area, we need at least two days' notice. Route Around Town Accommodations may be scheduled up to closing the day before. If you have to cancel, see the Be Prepared section about our cancellation policy.

Be Prepared

All of our services have a schedule to maintain with riders' needs in mind
  • Plan to be ready 15-minutes before your scheduled pickup time. This helps the operator flex for any scheduling changes.
  • We need to be able to get to and from the pickup location safely by van or bus. Remove obstacles
  • The operator will assist you as you board the bus. Please have carryon items ready
  • Pay exact fare each time you board or pay round trip on the first boarding. Drivers do not make change
  • Cash, check (made out to South Lane Wheels), or SLW Ticket is accepted
  • Discount ticket books of ten tickets for Door to Door service saves you money, so buy one today from the operator or at the SLW office
  • Door to Door riders need to be at stop 15 minutes before the scheduled pick up time
  • An unscheduled return trip is considered a Will Call ride which may have a 30-minute wait after pick up call is made. Rider must request the pick up by calling SLW Dispatcher (541) 942-0456 x1

Cancellations: Please be considerate and respectful of other riders and our drivers by calling to cancel a reservation in advance (up to 8 am the day of the trip) or it is considered a “No-Show." A “No-Show" will result in a fee that must be paid before the next ride reservation can be fulfilled.

5-Minute Rule: For Door to Door and Metro Shuttle services allows the operator to wait up to 5-minutes for a rider to board before getting back on the road. If a rider is not prepared to board within the 5-minutes, the operator shall leave without the rider. If this happens, it is considered a “No-Show."
