Route•Around•Town
The Route•Around•Town is general public transportation available for everyone, and is designed to provide increased accessibility for the entire community with extended hours and Route Accommodations. Route•Around•Town hits all the hot spots in Cottage Grove; Village Shopping Center, Riverview Terrace, LCC and the High School, Lincoln Middle School, Coast Fork Nursing Center, the Pool, Jefferson Park, the Community Center/Library, Safeway, Walgreens, Bi-Mart, Walmart, Cottage Grove Community Hospital, Prime Med, Cottage Grove Living Center, and the Relief Nursery. It starts at Village Shopping Center at 8 AM and continues its hour long loop to 7 PM.
Route Accommodations:
Allow for detours off the regular route up to 3/4 miles – everywhere within Cottage Grove city limits as well as the rodeo grounds and the fair grounds
- Must be reserved at least one hour ahead – call 541.942.0456
- Only 2 per half hour are allowed
- Incurs an additional charge equal to the base rate
- On the route path are free
Rates start at $.50 (Seniors, Youth, and Low Income) for a one way ride or $1.25 for an all day pass.
Rates for general public adults start at $1.00 for a one way ride or $2.50 for an all day pass.
If you don’t see your location or destination on the Route map call the office and we will be able to assist you in getting where you need to go.

The fare for accommodations is equal to that of the primary fare for that rider.
